- To optimise, minimise and reduce the consumption of energy and natural resources throughout the product and processlifecycles.
- To incorporate MICAS'S EHS&S policy while making decisions regarding purchase of raw materials, manufacturing of productsand salesand distribution of productsand services.
- To communicate and necessitate ownership of the EHS&S policy by MICAS's employees, contractor workers, vendors and customers.
- Towork towards ZERO workplaceinjuries.
- To providesafety sheets,compliancelabelsand otherrequired information to employees,contractworkers, vendors and customers.
- To ensure emergency preparedness and to respond effectively and quickly to environmental incidents/accidents should they arise with appropriate methods foremergencyresponseand control.
- To develop, adapt, incorporate and implement technological developments, tools and techniques to minimise & reduceenvironmental health and safety risks.
- To implement, maintain, develop and improvethe EHS&S monitoring programsto improve EHS&S performance.
- To providetherequired training and resourcesto incorporatethe EHS&S culturein the organisation.
